Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy
We provide individual psychological support for children and adolescents aged 4 to 18 years. Therapy is tailored to each child and their individual needs, with a focus on building skills and helping them feel more confident and able to manage life’s challenges.
We begin with an initial 50-minute parent consultation to understand your concerns, gather relevant background information and discuss goals for therapy. This also gives us an opportunity to determine whether our service is the right fit for your child and what support may be most helpful. Depending on your child’s age and circumstances, they may also attend the initial appointment.
If we are the right fit, we will develop a personalised approach to therapy based on your child’s needs and goals. Ongoing sessions are generally 50 minutes and may involve working individually with your child, with parents also involved when helpful.
We understand that starting psychology can feel like a big step for children and families. Our aim is to create a warm, supportive environment where your child feels comfortable, understood and able to make positive changes
